The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce is contemplating on getting hold of the Prasad Recording Studio for setting up a huge Library. The 20 years lease period for Prasad Studio inside government land at Kanteerava studio has come to an end. KFCC is now asking government of Karnataka to accommodate digitalized library of Kannada films at this place with preview theatre.

Kanteerava Studio is like mother place for the Industry and the memorial of Dr Rajakumar at this place further increases the strength of surrounding.

Either KFCC or KCA would take possession of this land for a constructive purpose says Sa Ra Govindu and Umesh Banakar.
